This first week of online classes has truly been a challenge. It reminds me of how important it is to continue to learn because this new technology era will pass me by if I do not choose to educate myself. This opporunity makes it possible for me to be able to form connections with people in other areas who know so much more than I do when it comes to early childhood, teaching, and administration. I look forward to learning ways to bring new team-oriented and goal-oriented ideas back into the classroom.
Kimberly, I completely agree with you on this first week being a challenge. I would do what I thought was correct only to find that it was completely wrong and then I would have to start over and redo it. As hard as it was to figure out how to set up a blog, I feel like this is a good thing. It will allow us to connect with lots of different people in the education field and it is an opportunity to learn new and exciting ways to educate our students.
ReplyDeleteI too look forward to learning ways to bring new ideas back the classroom and my program as a whole. I find it interesting, yet comforting, that I am not the only person who had never blogged before. I am hopeful that as a team we will figure this out and all benefit from it.
ReplyDeleteKimberly,
ReplyDeleteI agree with both you and Misty. I have never struggled with using the computer, yet this class is making me feel like a total idiot.
I look forward to the days when we are sharing ideas and learning exciting things about children.
I have a blog already and it took seconds to create.
My blog for this class took forever. On top of all this stress I am in a power outage that only involves four houses on my block. Maryland and Virginia are suffering from massive power outages, but my neighborhood was spared. And out of nowhere today my power went out right while I was working. Now I just want to submit my work on time, but I'm not sure what's going to happen.
Oh well, it's all going to be worth it and I'll look back and laugh.
My comment says Mimi-I forgot to sign it Michelle Bronson until everyone makes the connection.
DeleteI love the way you made your six word description your blog title.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about the priceless opportunity to learn from and with peers and colleagues, fellow professionals from all across the globe.
